2 Year Old Provision

We have 32 spaces; 10 are reserved for those eligible to 15 free hours each week and these children will be guaranteed a place in our nursery for 3 and 4 year old children. To find out if you are eligible for a free 2 year old space phone Family Information Services on 020 8891 7969 or have a look on Richmond’s website https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-2-year-olds There are 22 paying places available.

There are 16 spaces in the morning session, and 16 in the afternoon session. The ratio is 1 adult to 4 children at all times.

The two year olds have their own indoor and outdoor space in ‘Little Windham’, so that we are really able to concentrate on their needs as two year olds. It is set up in the Windham way to make sure that we provide the very best for your children, we will echo the principles of our ‘outstanding’ 3 and 4 year old provision, but for slightly smaller people. The 2 year old children also have opportunities to use the sensory room, soft play area, and the sensory garden.

Children will be allocated a place to attend five morning sessions each week, or five afternoon sessions each week. If your child is not quite ready for this you can choose how many sessions you wish to attend as your child builds towards a five session week, but unfortunately we would still have to charge for the five sessions.

Free and paid for places in each session will be designated following the admissions criteria for Nursery Places in the London Borough of Richmond.

Fees

£165 for each week (Reduces to £54.60 per week the term after your child has turned 3 years old)

Parents are asked to pay for the term upfront and commit to an academic year in the provision in their contract. A term’s notice is required if you want your child’s place to cease.

We accept childcare vouchers, the childcare tax free funding as part or full payment for nursery fees. Please contact Terri Sigamoney, School Business Manager on 0208 831 6060 for further details.

The fees at Windham are eligible for Early Education Funding (EEF) for further information on this funding please visit the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames website
